**Individuals who perform home repairs, masons, plumbers, etc.**
Eligibility
- Usually a sole proprietor or small partnership
- $2,000 of Business Property coverage is included
- Specific building coverage may be added
- $1,000 Accounts Receivable coverage included
- $500 Exterior Signs coverage included
- $1,000 Extra Expense coverage included
- $1,000 Loss of Earnings coverage included for 3 months
- $1,000 Money and Securities coverage included
- $1,000 Tools and Equipment coverage included (may be increased)
- Inland Marine specified coverage on Tools can be added
- Not for General Contractors
- No Work outside of New York State
- Sublet work cannot exceed 20% of the total work
- Must have three or more years of full time experience in the classification used
- Commercial operations may not exceed 20% of the total work
**Liability limited due to Labor Law Section 240 Scaffolding Act**
- Maximum liability coverage is $500,000
- No Contractual Liability is permitted
- No Additional Insureds may be added
- Maximum payroll is $200,000 per year
- Maximum Receipts are $500,000 per year
- XCU Explosion, Collapse and Underground no coverage provided; if part of insured's operations, risk is ineligible for coverage
- If any stand-alone roofing work is done, risk is ineligible for coverage

- HVAC - No pressure vessels above 15 psi
- Cabinet makers
- Carpentry No roofing except integral to a remodel/new build contract
- Carpet Cleaners On premises or off-premises
- Electrical Apparatus
- Electricians Excluding alarm installation
- Fence Erection
- Household Furnishings
- Interior Decorating
- Janitorial and Cleaning Services
- Landscaping and Lawn Care
- Masonry work
- Nurseries Wholesale and Retail
- Painting and Decorating
- Painting Shop
- Plastering and Wallboard
- Plumbing Domestic
- Sheet Metal Work
